VALENCIA

It's called valence-late because it is really slow to mature. Hence the word beats, which means later.
It is one of the sweetest and juiciest varieties, with slightly more acidic than other varieties of oranges. Of a size slightly smaller than that of the latter and slightly rougher the skin, usually also some seeds.
This variety of orange, because the pulp is thickened, is most recommended for juice, but also serves well to table.
Its consumption is popular after the time of the Navelinas, although it is one of the most cultivated varieties in valencia next to the Navelinas and navel-lane-late. His collection runs from May until end of season.
